2008-02-19 [Remos Page]: best not to say to much here
2008-02-19 [Cia_mar]: *blushes adn then looks sweet and innocent*
2008-03-17 [Hedda]: [Grandamelf]: Very hard to to see the fairy there.
2008-03-19 [Grandamelf]: Thank you! I took her down
2008-03-20 [Artsieladie]: Ohhh, can you make her bigger, [Grandamelf]?
2008-03-20 [Hedda]: No need to take anything down, just because it isn't perfect. Then we wouldn't have any pictures anywhere!
But a bigger fairy would be very nice.
2008-03-20 [Grandamelf]: Dear [Hedda] and my friend [Artsieladie] Thank you for your comments.
When I turned my Granddaughter into a fairy I used the small photo instead of the large one to save memory on my computer, and so It will take some time for me to redo a larger one (which might not be exactly the same) There are vaitations of her, however, in The Woodland Fairy 2 which are more paint than photo.
2008-03-20 [Artsieladie]: Dear, this contest doesn't end until November 1st. So, you would have a lot of time yet. We do prefer a minimum amount of painting (photo manipulation). I think it would be an even lovelier entry, if indeed it was larger. *hugs*
2008-04-12 [xido]: I like 'Fairies on the rocks'. It's like a cross between 'Madonna of/on the Rocks' and Absinthe 'on the rocks'. Good times. ;)
2008-04-26 [Artsieladie]: [theworm], this is what you posted:
<http://elftown.eu/stuff/z/183502/POPTART!/i1209157722_1.jpg>
You didn't put in the "img:" part at the beginning like this:
<img:http://elftown.eu/stuff/z/183502/POPTART!/i1209157722_1.jpg>
Then to thumbnail it at 300, do this:
<img300:http://elftown.eu/stuff/z/183502/POPTART!/i1209157722_1.jpg>
2008-04-27 [Cia_mar]: i hate to nitpick... but according to the rules it says: "Submissions of photo-only artwork images...."
does the last entry fit that stipulation?
2008-04-28 [Artsieladie]: To tell you the truth, even though it is big, I can't make it out all that well. It doesn't look much like a photo, but maybe someone who knows more about photography can shed some additional light? :P Don't worry about nit-picking, dear. I want to know what everyone is thinking. So thank you for your input. :)
2008-04-28 [Remos Page]: i have done lots of photography and it look like fungus on the lens ,sorry but i can not see the fairies in it
2008-04-28 [Iske]: looks like a tattoo to me
can't see any fairy in it either but maybe that is how [theworm] sees a fairy
fantasy is very personal, but it has to match the contestrules
2008-04-28 [windowframe]: I can see a fairy in it, but I thought it looked more like a photo of a drawing with a few photoshop filters applied.
2008-04-28 [Artsieladie]: Since it is stated above...
...realistical
I would have to lean against it, b/c it appears more artistic than photo to me. :P Which doesn't mean it has to come down, but rather 'marked outside of this contest'. :P
2008-04-28 [moira hawthorne]: or just ask her to move it to ECM Fairy/Fae Art
2008-04-28 [Artsieladie]: Moving it to ECM Fairy/Fae Art won't work, either, if it's a photo-manip, b/c it says there:
All mediums, excepting photography (and/or manipulations) and animations will be accepted.
:P
2008-06-01 [arthemis_]: Ehmm, I have an entry, but I don't know if it's realistical looking enough for here. Also, one of the three pictures used isn't taken by me, because I'm the model. But the photographer has given me permission as it was: "just a snapshot at an unappreciated moment having a nice result". The rest is taken by me, and all the pictures have been edited by me. *sigh* long story, but would anybody who knows this kind of thing check the photo up for me? It's on my 'house', the top picture. Many thanks beforehand :D
2008-06-02 [Artsieladie]: Do you have a larger version of it? You are always welcome to post it here anyway. ;)
2008-06-02 [arthemis_]: Ok, uploaded and put it here. What do you guys think? Is it reasonable?
